Firstly, can I just say your blog's and your memoir have offered me valuable inspiration to lead a life from 'within' rather than from 'without'.Our success in society is too often measured by what we 'clothe' ourselves with materially...and yet even when we achieve this outer wealth we still feel like somethings missing, and having more is never enough...
Yes,the beauty in life, the joy and peace can be found in the little gestures and kindness you speak of in the above blog..they are like little sparks of light from the heart...
Much peace and happiness to you and your readers.

Hi Bruce. Pixie just directed me to your site. Wow. Your professional path differs from most Cornell grads, and you have allowed your spirituality to guide you as it did at Cornell. Congratulations. Just returned from a trip to Ethiopia to visit my daughter who's working at an orphanage there, and I felt the beauty and peace of a meditative world that you describe. It's a beautiful thing when beauty and peace co-exist, and it's a goal so many of us share. Cheers.

Hi Bruce,

With the resurgence of many female models from the recent past, its great to see a member of the male model elite making an appearance as well. I remember seeing your face everywhere...you look just as amazing now!~

I think you, Bob Menna, and Eric Malone all came from the same gene pool! How do you do it??? :)

I probably missed the book signing in New York as this is an older post, but best of luck and congratulations. Looking forward to reading the dish on what really happened behind the scenes then!

Best,
Herb

Hello Bruce,

I fell upon this site when reading an article about Tatjana Patiz on The UK Guardian of January 15, 2009.

I do love your website.

May I ask you to please confirm something?

During the nineties, I distinctly remember purchasing a b&w postcard featuring both Talisa Soto and yourself. I do believe you were wearing a white dress shirt and black pants, it was an exquisite photo. can you indeed confirm that it was you? It is eerily similar to th e6th picture you have in thi slink:http://brucehulse.com/Standalone2000/index.html A b& w model Bridgit Hall and yourself.

I have always , always loved that photo that I have still..somewhere stashed in a suitcase of memories as a postcard.

Thank you , Laura

I bumped into this book at downtown Seattle's public library.

Really fantastic.
You really are a terrific human being.

I'm telling my closest friends to read it.
Your writing makes the reader feel it is our own high-wire ride that you are on.

Thankyou for maintaining your humanity and being generous w/us all.

May your family have all blessings and protections.

You've really made your soul naked in this story & that's why it will be so healing for folks to read.
We all envy others & yet can't imagine their own all-too-human struggles.
You've shown a light w/your Truth.

Finished the book - One book, I could not put down--it depicted all the addictions one could have, and led one out into a world where God and family were the head of the life of an incredible man that was not afraid to write about his life showing all the infidelities and all the depressions that co-exist when the soul is not where it should be--but led the reader on to a much better place. THANKS FOR WRITING THIS INCREDIBLE BOOK!!
